An ILM Level 6 qualification maps to Level 8 on the National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ). There are three distinct qualification routes available: Award, Certificate and Diploma. Each of these uses the same leadership and management qualification framework, with different credit and time requirements.

The Learning Experience

Learning outcomes are selected according to the chosen route and units. Depending on the pathway, learners may work on outcomes such as:

Assessment

Each unit in the qualification is assessed through an assignment that can be applied to your work environment. All assessment criteria must be passed in order to gain the chosen Award, Certificate or Diploma.

Learners who successfully complete their selected route will receive an ILM Level 6 Award, Certificate or Diploma in Leadership and Management, mapped to NFQ Level 8.
